This bowl is robotically carved and hand finished, made from beautiful cherry wood. It features a grid pattern, designed to create a zoetrope effect when filmed. It measures 10" in diameter and 4.5" tall. Due to large dimensions it is constructed from a glue up, so there is one small seam running the central axis of the bowl.
The zoetrope effect will not be visible unless filmed at the correct rotation angle/framerate ratio of 29.14 degrees per frame.
Lead time on this piece be around four weeks due to the complexity and extended time needed for machining and finishing.
